It's the Little Things

It's the little things that make me so happy..Lately I think its been sugar. I have been working diligently to get caught up on Shutterfly photobooks and trying to stay up late to work on them. So, usually its some sort of sweet to keep me going!!

So, no picture for this one but I keep getting FREE 8x8 Shutterfly book offers in my email, lately two of them and a little money saved definitely helps! Speaking of emails, a sweet email from friends that I don't hear from very often always makes me smile. It's the little things....

Made sugar cookies with Simon this week and a big mess turned into a bigger mess! Pushing flour around into piles with spatulas entertained him for quite awhile! It's the little things..

Sitting outside drawing on the sidewalk with colorful chalk is pretty darn relaxing!! Yes, Simon joined.. I don't normally go outside and do it myself! :) It's the little things...

Our NEW Zoku quick pop maker found at TJ Maxx this past week made me super happy. Especially when I paid $10 less than normal online price. This thing is SO cool. Haven't experimented with it much yet but strawberry Popsicles in 7 minutes is pretty darn sweet. I'll be posting again on this thing soon!! Anyone have one of these things..? It's the little things...

Mmmm Good & Plenty's late at night.. It's the little things...

  2. I have been eyeballing the popsicle maker and am curious to hear more about it! I would like to make smoothies into popsicles. Pretty healthy afternoon snacks.

I wish I had kids so I could have a reason to go outside and color with chalk. Fun times!

  3. You are brave, having him help you with the cookie making. Love how he was entertained with the flour. And lucky you, getting those Shutterfly coupons!

  4. I think my favorite of all these is the sidewalk chalk...that NEVER gets old, no matter how old we may be!

I've never really been a fan of licorice, but it's a totally different story when it comes to Good&Plenty...I could eat a whole bag of those sugary treats - so dangerous!

  7. I let the kids play with flour all the time! It makes a mess, but it's not too bad to clean up!
